Georgian journalists reported that the police used water cannons and grenades with tear gas to disperse demonstrators.

⚫️Die activists themselves threw stones and bottles at police officers and fired pyrotechnics. The Georgian Ministry of the Interior reported that ten police officers were injured.

Due to the government’s renunciation of European integration, demonstrations in Georgia are now in their second night. Georgian President Salome Zurabishvili also attended the first protest.

⚫️Die Protesters in Tbilisi announced their intention to take to the streets until the Georgian government resumes its “course towards European integration” and holds new parliamentary elections.
